The Verdon Gorges

It's the biggest canyon of Europe.The best access and the less busy road starts from Draguigan and then via Aups or Salernes.Great walks can be made along the Canyon:the Martel departing from the Chalet of the Maline and you finish via a tunnel.This walk last approximately 6 hours and it provides a wonderful viewpointsThe Imbut way which is more sporting:
a little climbing part at the end of the way and it starts from the Hotel of the Grand Canyonplan to leave a car on two extremeties.
Several typical villages can be seen;such as Moustiers Sainte Marie,Bauduen,Aiguines...On the lake of Sainte Croix,many activities are offered:windsurfing,hiring of pedalos,kayaks and canoes to go into the Gorge.
